Location and Movement Data Collection in the M5 Guardian App
The M5 Guardian App collects precise location, driving event, and movement data from your device to provide its services. This data may be shared with other members of your organization using the M5 platform.
You have full control over this data collection and sharing through the App Settings:
- Disable Location Services: You can restrict data collection by denying the app access to your location.
- Stop Data Collection: Uninstalling the M5 Guardian App and logging out from our Services will cease further collection of your location data.

Comments
When visitors leave comments on our site, we collect the information provided in the comments form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to assist with spam detection.
An anonymized string (hash) of your email address may be sent to the Gravatar service to check if you’re using it. You can view the Gravatar privacy policy here: Gravatar Privacy Policy. Once your comment is approved, your profile picture will be publicly visible in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to our website, please avoid including embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors can download and extract this data from uploaded images.
Cookies

- Comments: When you leave a comment, you can opt-in to saving your name, email, and website in cookies for convenience. These cookies last for one year.
- Login: A temporary cookie is set to check if your browser accepts cookies. It’s discarded when you close your browser.
